Brand Compass Edit: Mini Shoot

A focused content shoot for service providers who want quality content — without the overwhelm of creating and planning it all themselves.

This is about creating content you’ll actually use, not just leaving with a folder of photos.

Introducing our Mini Shoot – this is the Brand Compass Edit experience, condensed.

 Friday 10th July 2026

Join us for an in-person Bristol content and brand shoot at Greenbank Studio, Eastville.

£245

Book by 9am Monday 29th June to secure your place.

Limited slots available.

The Brand Compass Edit combines strategic planning, professional visuals, and practical caption ideas, so you know exactly what to post, why you’re posting it, and how it supports your wider marketing priorities.

This isn’t about creating content for the sake of it.
It’s about making the most of a small, well-planned set of assets — and using them intentionally over the next three months.

Who the Brand Compass Edit is for

The Brand Compass Edit is designed for Bristol-based freelancers, creatives and business owners who want to show up more consistently in their marketing — but don’t have the time, headspace, or an in-house marketing team to do it alone.

It’s a great fit if you:

  • You don’t have an in-house marketing team
  • You’re juggling too much right now
  • Marketing always slips to the bottom of your to-do list
  • You’re constantly running out of time — even though you know visibility matters
  • You like the idea of getting your content “ticked off” for the next three months
  • You want a bank of content aligned with your goals, curated by an experienced strategist
  • Are based in or around Bristol (or can get here easily!)

This works particularly well for solo founders and small teams who want clarity, direction and structure — without adding more complexity.

And it might not be the right fit if…

The Brand Compass Edit probably isn’t for you if:

  • You’re looking for hundreds of assets or a full rebrand
  • You need ongoing content management or daily posting
  • You have a large team or multiple locations to cover
  • You want everything fully written and done-for-you

If that’s the case, I’m always happy to chat as another offer may suit you.

What makes this different to a normal photoshoot?

Most photoshoots leave you with great images… and no idea what to do with them.

Unlike a traditional Bristol brand photoshoot, this experience combines strategy, content planning, and professional visuals.

With the Brand Compass Edit, the visuals are only one part of the picture.

Before the shoot, we plan your content around what actually matters in your business right now.
After the shoot, you receive a content plan with caption ideas designed to sit alongside the images and B-roll we create together.

Those caption ideas are:

  • Matched to the assets from your shoot
  • Aligned with your strategic marketing priorities
  • Designed to help you show up consistently without overthinking

So rather than having a folder of great images and feeling stuck on what to say, you’ll have clear prompts and direction to help you use the content confidently and consistently.

Is this for me?

Brand Compass Edit is for you if…

  • You want to feel focused and in control of your marketing

  • You’re ready to simplify and stop second-guessing every post or email

  • You’d love an expert sounding board to sense-check your ideas

  • You value sustainable, ethical marketing that works for you

It’s probably not for you if you’re after full social media management or prefer a hands-off approach.

Who you’ll be working with

You won’t be figuring this out on your own…

From Feed to Foundation

Your content coach

The Brand Compass Edit is led by me, Sarah Williamson — a freelance content and email marketer working with service-based businesses who want clarity, consistency, and marketing that feels manageable.

I’ll be supporting you with the strategic side of the shoot: planning what content to create, how it fits into your wider marketing, and helping you feel confident about how to use it afterwards.

On the day, I’ll also be guiding and capturing B-roll footage, so we’re creating assets that work naturally for social, email, and your wider content. This is about making sure the visuals work for your business, not just look nice.

From Feed to Foundation

Your photographer

Alongside me on the day is Leah Disley, a Bristol-based freelance photographer specialising in branding and portrait photography.

With an editorial eye and a passion for narrative-driven imagery, she combines creative vision, technical skill, and strategic insight to produce compelling, meaningful work. Whether capturing fashion, branding campaigns, or intimate portraits, Leah creates inclusive, thoughtful, and engaging experiences tailored to each client’s vision.

Leah will be capturing your photos in a relaxed, supportive way — with plenty of guidance so you don’t feel awkward or unsure in front of the camera.

Leah has been fantastic to work with – her calm and collected approach really put me at ease and she was willing to go above and beyond to get some brilliant shots that really captured me and my brand. I’d highly recommend Leah to anyone looking for a fun photoshoot experience and some amazing photos to treasure too!

Don’t just take their word for it… see some examples of her work here!

What it’s actually like on the day

Let’s be honest — most people don’t love having their photo taken.

If you’ve ever felt a bit awkward in front of a camera, you’re very much not alone. That’s exactly why the day is designed to feel relaxed, informal and genuinely supportive.

You won’t be left wondering what to do with your hands or how to stand. Leah guides you in a way that feels natural and easy, so you’re not trying to “perform” — you’re just being yourself. The aim isn’t to create a version of you that feels polished beyond recognition. It’s to capture you and your work in a way that feels real and professional.

I’m there alongside her, helping shape what we’re creating so it connects back to your business and your goals. We talk things through, adjust and adapt to you.

We’re two female solopreneurs who know what it’s like to build a business and put yourself out there. We’re experienced at what we do, but very down to earth – promise! The atmosphere is calm, friendly and collaborative – we don’t want you to feel intimidated or pressured at any point.

You’ll leave feeling supported, clearer about your content, and genuinely more confident about showing up.

How the Brand Compass Edit works

The Brand Compass Edit is designed to be structured, supportive, and easy to step into — even if marketing usually feels overwhelming.

Step 1: Express your interest
Start by completing the short booking form to register your interest in the Brand Compass Edit. Once your form is submitted, I’ll be in touch to confirm availability, answer any questions, and talk through next steps.

If you’re joining us for the July shoot, we’ll also confirm your preferred time slot. If you can’t make this date, you can use the same form to register your interest for a future shoot day.

Step 2: Secure your slot
Your place is secured with a £50 deposit. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the shoot. Payment plans are available — just let me know when you submit the form, and we can arrange this.

Spaces are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis once deposits are received.

Step 3: Your pre-shoot strategy call
Ahead of the shoot, we’ll book in a strategy video call. This is where we get clear on your business, your services, and your current marketing priorities.

Together, we’ll plan:

  • What content we’re creating
  • How it supports your goals
  • How the visuals will be used
  • The direction and focus of your captions

This ensures the shoot is purposeful and tailored to you.

Step 4: Prepare for the shoot
You’ll receive guidance on what to wear, how to prepare, and what to bring on the day. We’ll also talk through props and personal touches, with the option to use some provided props or bring your own to reflect your branding.

Refreshments will be available on the day, and the atmosphere will be calm, friendly, and supportive.

Step 5: Your Brand Compass Edit Shoot
On the day, you’ll have a private 60-minute slot, including at least 30 minutes of shooting time.

During your session, we’ll capture a mix of brand photography and B-roll, with clear direction throughout. The focus is on creating versatile assets that feel natural and usable across your marketing.

Step 6: Assets and content plan delivery
After the shoot, you’ll receive your edited photos, unedited B-roll, and your content plan within four weeks of the shoot (at the latest).

Your content plan includes caption ideas designed to sit alongside the assets from your shoot, helping you make the most of them while reflecting your wider strategic marketing priorities.

What your content plan actually looks like

To help you visualise what you’ll receive after the shoot, the short video above shows an example content plan for a fictional web designer.

Each image or video from the shoot is mapped out alongside:

  • suggested ways to use it
  • caption ideas that can be copied, adapted, or used as prompts
  • guidance aligned with your wider marketing priorities

The aim is to remove the guesswork so you know exactly what to post to reach your goals.

So instead of ending up with great visuals and wondering what to say alongside them, you’ll have clear direction on how to use each asset intentionally over the next three months.

Step 7: Optional post-shoot support
If you’d like extra guidance once you start using the content, optional post-shoot strategy support is available to help you adapt, refine, or build momentum.

Optional add-ons

You’ll leave the Brand Compass Edit with everything you need to start showing up with more clarity and confidence.

If you’d like extra support turning your content into something ready to use straight away, or expanding your asset library, we offer the following add-ons:

Additional images from your gallery

You’ll receive a minimum of 5 professionally edited images as part of your shoot.

After your session, you’ll also get access to your full gallery, where you can select your included images and purchase any additional photos you’d like.

B-roll editing

We take your raw B-roll footage from the day and turn it into polished, ready-to-post video content, including hooks.
– £45 per edited video
or
– £120 for a bundle of 3 videos

Done-for-you content creation

If you’d rather not start from scratch, we can create content for you using your new photos and footage.

Let us know if you’re interested in this and we can put together a personalised quote

Talking head video content (script development, filming and editing)

If you want to start showing up on camera but aren’t sure what to say or how to structure it, we can create complete talking head videos for you.

We’ll script your content in advance, guide you through filming on the day, and edit the final video so it’s ready to use.
– £80 for one complete video
– £150 for two videos
– For multiple videos or bespoke packages, please get in touch for a tailored quote

Where the shoot is taking place

We’ll be shooting at Greenbank Studio in Eastville, a beautiful natural light studio in East Bristol, just a couple of miles from the city centre and Bristol Temple Meads.

The space has a generous, open shooting area, with a fully equipped kitchen that gives us lots of options for creating relaxed, lifestyle-style content.

There’s a selection of props and backdrops available to use (plus we’ll be taking even more with us!), so we can keep your content varied without it feeling overcomplicated.

The studio also opens out onto a small, south-facing garden, which gives us the option to shoot outdoors too if the weather allows.

It’s a calm, private space that works really well if you’re feeling a bit nervous about being in front of the camera. Everything is set up so we can keep things simple, flexible, and focused on capturing content that actually feels like you.

What’s included

The Brand Compass Edit is a focused, strategy-led experience designed to help you make the most of a small amount of well-planned content.

For just £245 you get:

  • A 30-minute pre-shoot strategy call to plan your content and priorities
  • A private 60-minute slot on the shoot day, allowing for an outfit change as required
  • Professional brand photography captured by Leah
  • B-roll video captured by Sarah (or by both of us, depending on the setup)
  • A curated selection of five edited photos, with the option for more
  • Unedited B-roll footage for flexible use across your marketing
  • A content plan built around the assets from your shoot
  • Caption ideas to sit alongside your visuals, aligned with your strategic marketing priorities
  • Guidance on clothing, hair, make-up and props
  • Props provided on the day, with the option to bring your own for a more personal, on-brand feel
  • Refreshments during your session

What you’ll walk away with

By the end of the Brand Compass Edit, you won’t just have new visuals — you’ll have clarity around how to use them.

You’ll have:

  • A clear direction for your content moving forward
  • A practical content plan built around the assets from your shoot
  • Caption ideas designed to sit alongside those visuals, reflecting your strategic marketing priorities
  • A bank of professional photos and B-roll, created with repurposing in mind
  • Suggestions on how individual images or clips can be reused — for example, cropping one photo in different ways, turning a single image into a carousel, or using the same visual across social, email, and your website
  • Confidence in knowing how to get more mileage from a small, well-planned set of content

Rather than creating content reactively, the Brand Compass Edit helps you use a small, well-planned set of assets intentionally — making it easier to show up consistently without overthinking every post.

My Party Starter session with Sarah was so much more than I expected. I knew I needed to be marketing my small business digitally and was half heartedly posting on social media without any real strategy.

Sarah provided practical advice tailored to my individual experience and offered reassurance and a common sense approach to ensure that going forward, her suggestions were achievable, realistic and meaningful in terms of marketing.

I received a detailed follow up email with all that we had discussed and next steps which showed that she really understood where I was coming from and what I wanted to achieve.

It was well worth the investment and I whole heartedly recommend seeking Sarah’s advice.
